Planning Affordable Housing

Delivery: Hyflex - A primarily self-paced online course, with 2 live (optional/recorded) instructional sessions, and 3 drop-in sessions.
Duration: This course is delivered over a 6-week period, and requires approximately 24 hours of your time (an investment of 4 hours per week).
In this course, participants will learn the fundamentals of affordable housing planning, including feasibility studies, need and demand assessments, and effective site selection. Participants will learn about different housing models and organizational structures necessary for successful affordable housing projects. Through practical exercises and case studies, learners will develop skills in sourcing demographic data, planning financial systems, and drafting need and demand assessments.
